VIGILANCE and flooding - in France
Météo France a levé mercredi la vigilance orange dans le sud-est, après un mardi marqué par des pluies torrentielles ayant fait au moins dix morts dans le Var tandis que des précipitations, couplées à une forte marée, étaient attendues dans les Pyrénées-atlantiques.
On Wednesday Meteo France lifted the orange vigilance in the southeast, after a Tuesday marked by torrential rains that killed at least ten people in the Var (department 83) while rainfall, coupled with high tides were expected in the Pyrenees-Atlantic.
